Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES  during the Honeymoon Period.

I feel I need to repeat this:  I am a FIRM believer in Whey Protein Drinks!!!!!  I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up.   It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

Morning Ladies and Gents!  Talked to the Dr. office about my lab results.  My White Blood count is low.  That could mean all kinds of "bad" things.  They haven't gotten the important ones like B12, K, A, back yet but the ones they did get back were all in the "normal" range.  Normal to them is not the same as Normal to me.  I will have to wait to read the report print out.  I'll be really surprised if my B12 is in the normal range which could also be the reason for the low white blood count.  I've been very laxed in taking my vitamins....

I stopped doing additional B12 years ago and mine is always over the charts just from my 2 dailies.  At least with that, I must absorb really well.  If I take the time to fix my box, I do pretty well.  If I get lax, I still do ok in the evening but miss some mornings.  I have no clue about low white cells???

Planned on driving Teke early but ended up having the state at one of my homes for their annual visit.  It is always unannounced but we did fine with no deficenties  It didn't take long so I did get a drive in when I got home.

Hi Roz,

My internet was down almost all day yesterday.  This is the 4th call to Mediacom.  It was working fine when the last tech left but yesterday morning it start going up and down again.  Then yesterday afternoon it went down and didn't come back up until sometime in the night.  I am getting really aggravated.

Do you take an iron pill?  I have always had a low white blood count since I was young so I have to take an iron pill every day.  The problem with taking the iron is it makes you very constipated.  I found one that is not quite as bad as some of the others and my drug store orders it for me and a friend of mine that had RNY.

Hope DH's MRI goes good today.  We are leaving for the beach tomorrow.  I am ready for this trip.  Don't know how often I will be able to get on and post but I'm going to try and be good!!
