Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
Afternoon LW Friends!!!! Are you a label reader? I'm a routine eater so I don't check labels often. Well I screwed up this time because I just had one of those new Greek Whipped flavor containers and boy did I get the shakes! It had 12g of sugar!!!!! Even at 6+ years out I still try to stay around 8g of sugar per serving. I HATE getting the shakes and it's not long until the headache follows. I have to remember that the next time I stray away from my routine.
Maintenance Mode and 6+ years out

I'm Glad you are back!!!!!!
Oh....I bet it was wonderful!!!! I really miss taking my grandkids to my Mom's. She really loved seeing them all. Now she just stares at them and the older ones get too upset seeing her like that. I took the baby up and Mom really enjoyed holding him (with my help) and since he doesn't know any better I'll probably take him again soon but I just want the older ones to have good Memories of her.
DH is able to put a little weight on it now which is mentally helping him. We went to see the Ortho Dr. this week and he feels there is a tear on each side of the leg. We are waiting for authorization for an MRI.
Sounds Good Linda!

It is ridiculous how much sugar is added to foods that we think of as healthy. I'm really good at reading labels, but when I don't, I usually get something that isn't remotely healthy.
It's been really nice today, no humidity, but the weekend is supposed to be in the 90s. I sat outside an read for a couple hours, but too many bugs. Tomorrow I have a temp job for the day. I've told them no long term jobs.
I printed off the schedule at the gym. Since I'm starting my 8th year as an RNYer, thought it's a good time to get on track. I did my bike again this evening while Wheel of Fortune was on. I haven't put my food in a program to see the totals.
Today's eats:
B: Click shake
L: Smoked sausage; American cheese; Quest chips (will be glad when they're gone; don't really like them.
S: Iced coffee protein
D: Pulled pork, green beans
S: Greek yogurt w/walnuts

Good for You!!!! I wish I had someone to walk with. They opened a new gym in our area and I was hoping they had a track you could walk on but no such luck. I have a treadmill but it makes my knees ache.
I think I must get lazy for ****y when it comes to labels but the added sugar was a good reminder of what dumping feels like and I don't like it!!!
I didn't like the Quest either. I LOVE my nut bars though!
Sounds Good!
