Well, I know what happened this week...I not only fell off the rails, I drove the damned train right off the cliff!
Last week 139
This week 143
Okay, what happened...it's now peach season and the freestone peaches are coming in. I can ignore most fruit except peaches and apples. So I made a peach cobbler.
I don't care for clingstone peaches..loose too much trying to cut the flesh off the pit. So you have to wait a bit for the freestones. Those don't start coming in until late June. BUT I do limit my indulgence to ONE a year, it just happened this week.

I certainly have more fruit in the summer. With blueberries and now blackberries right out my front door, I eat them the whole time I am picking them. I do love peaches too but I haven't gotten any yet this year.
I used to say what comes up quickly goes back down quickly but it doesn't seem to happen that way for me anymore. But I know you can take it back off again. Maintenance is HARD

We arrived at our son's house on Wednesday, we are currently house hunting in a tight market. This is stressful for sure, but both DH ad I are trying to eat on plan as best we can in an unfamiliar kitchen.
I am going to go practice tomorrow, I have a big competition at the end of the month and I need both the practice and the exercise. Hopefully I can keep that scale moving down.
Great job. Traveling does make it hard. My niece is in CA and she says it is so hard to find homes our there, San Francisco area. They are sold for more than the asking price as soon as they hit the market.
