When can we eat almonds
Those should be fine. I would test it with 3 or 4 and see how you do.

I was released to try nuts at 8 weeks/2 months post-op. I love having nuts as another way to get Protein. I agree to try a few first - chew well - and see how they go down. Nuts have been a bit of a slider type food for me - easy to eat and no restriction so be sure to weigh/measure!

At 2 months, not sure if we could have nuts yet but we were on 1/4c protein, 1/4c veggie per meal, 5-8x a day.

Everyone's plan is different, but for me I could add 1/2 oz - 1 oz of nuts for a serving. They are high in calories though especially compared to lean proteins. Try them cautiously to be sure you can tolerate them okay

I'd recommend just eating a few, as in 1 or 2 to see how they sit. Wait awhile then add a few more if you feel ok.
Nuts didn't sit well with me and made me feel bad. Even to this day cashews and peanuts can irritate my tummy. Same with peanut/almond butter... just incorporate a little at a time and see how you do with it.
