3 months post op
You have to be really careful not to compare yourself to others, as everyones journey is unique. The amount you have to lose is a huge factor, your health and mobility another, what you intake is another, whether you lost any Pre-wls as most Surgeons request, etc.
That said under the above link, under the resources button, under Post op planner, is a chart that gives you an estimate of your weight as you go through the journey. If you type in your pre WLS weight, and put in the % you want to lose... It'll give you a mthly estimate.
I did lose about 50 lbs, and im really proud of that, but its slowing down now. And im ok with that. If I keep going at this rate, I'll be at goal at 9-10 mths. From what ive seen that's average.
Good luck on your journey!

Sorry, should've gotten into more detail, my surgeon wants me to lose 30 lbs by the 3rd month, I started off at 201 and I've been stuck at 177 for 3 weeks now and hit 3 month today although my appt with her wont be for another 2 weeks I doubt I'd hit the target goal, was just wondering if 30 lbs is a bit much for someone who started off at 201.
