Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES  during the Honeymoon Period.

I feel I need to repeat this:  I am a FIRM believer in Whey Protein Drinks!!!!!  I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up.   It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

I went with my cravings for lunch.  Yesterday I wanted a hot dog with Chili but DH wanted a hamburger so for lunch today I went to the local hot dog shop.  Is your town famous for anything?  Ours is famous for the Original Hot Dog Shoppe Chili sauce.  My Dad worked there over 70 years ago when he was a teenager making the sauce then my brother worked there when he was a teenager.  I remember people standing in a line around the block to get hot dogs with chili.  Some plants would order 30 or 40 at a time.  They closed in 2004 and people actually morned like there was a death in the town but the Sauce lives on!  A local meat market had made the sauce the last 20+ years and now another Hot Dawg Shop is selling it plus the original orange gravy they were famous for. I always have a few containers in the freezer...can't have hot dogs without it.  Any way once you get the urge to have one it's hard to get rid of it..... it's better to just give in!

We have Hot Dog World here in Hendersonville, NC.  But I never get hot dogs when I go there.  I do love a good hot dog even though I know they aren't good for you.  I still have them on occasion.

Drove Teke, picked blueberries and did payroll.  Now off to the gym.  I am missing class Mon and Wed so DH and I are going to walk anyway.  Looks like the afternoon storms are over but could pop up again.

Back from the gym.  Did 50 min on the treadmill, 10 on the elyptical.  Woo Hoo.

decaf protein coffee  33g
eggbeaters, kale, cheese
lemon tea protein  13g
crackers, brunswiger
Caribbean cooler protein  13g
2 cheese sticks, sliced and nuked

We are suppose to finally have a whole day without rain although I have to admit the rain is helping me get my porch quicker because DH's ballgames have been cancelled and our SIL hasn't been able to go bike riding.

How long did you say your nuke your cheese?

Sounds Good!

If you do one stick, slice it and watch it but about a minute.  2 takes 1.5 min but I like mine really crunchy and toasted.

DH loves Chickfila!  Our DD moved and there is one about 3 miles from her house and we always have to stop there.

That bar would set me off for disaster....lol!  I avoided bars completely until I found the nut bar that I eat every day.

Sounds Good!
