HI all Today is my 5 month surgiversary and a good day in general.  Im down 61lbs so far and couldn't be happier.  One of my big personal goals was to be able to fit in my cruise dresses.

15 yrs ago, I came back from a deployment to Iraq (135dg on most days and while there, I made a big promotion where the Navy does all of this crazy phys fitness for 2 mths and I was running up to 5 miles a day at @ 5am so it was cool enough)  anyways lost a ton of weight, but as soon as it was over, I gained it all back and lots more.  Anyways after being gone 8 mths, my Hubby took me on a cruise to celebrate my homecoming.  I have never felt sexier or more beautiful in my life than on that cruise. Gorgeous dresses, fancy meals, dancing.  Those dresses have remained in a zipped hanging bag in an upstairs storage room pretty much since that cruise so long ago.  The picture of us as a couple, DH in a tux, me in one of those long clingy, strappy dresses sits on my desk to this day and I always get so many comments on it, most something to the effect of, "that's you??!?!?"  Then last week one of my friends remarked youre getting close, In regards to the pic.  I would have sworn I weighed @ 150 in the pic, and because of that, 150 lb is my first weight goal, but now im not sure I remembered my weight right.  Well this weekend I decided to pull the dresses out and they fit!!!! Still a bit tight, and I have no idea where I would wear such a thing, but it was really a huge NSV for me.  Maybe soon I'll figure out a way to pull one off
