Fashion Fridays!!
OK, so I admit it, Im jealous of the Whats on your menu, Photo Fri group.... that and I loved the idea Jody mentioned last week of a fashion post. So I wanted to start a weekly post, next Fri, where you could post a pic of either the "new you" in some of those new awesome clothes that im loving sooo much (I still can't believe what im finding in thrift stores!!) or just a pic that shows what you are doing that week?
So here's your heads up, if you want to post a pic, think Fri!!! Hope to see you all soon...literally!!!!
To upload pics here is not the easiest process. But not tooo terrible either. I figured it out after a lot of trial & error.
- First click on "MY OH" in the top right corner, move down to Photos option. Then select the Upload to your folder from where ever you have it stored on your computer.
- Once the picture you want is uploaded to your OBH folder. Right click on the picture itself, and select "copy shortcut".
- Then in your actual post, one of the buttons (sometimes I can see it, sometimes not, but its there if your mouse passes over it and says the actual words) but its right next to the emoticon button on the top left, and says "Insert/Edit Image". Anyways click that. A box pops up labeled "INSERT/EDIT PHOTO". Paste the short cut you copied above in the first box, The second box does nothing that I see, the third is the size of the picture, I used below 200 X 400. See below for how big that is, but whatever size works for you :-) I can't wait for Fri
Ok - I did it according to your directions - only I didn't have "copy shortcut" I used "copy URL". It worked! I've been struggling with doing this for awhile now - OH has changed the way it's done a few times...
Oh - btw this is my bathroom renovation - lol. I had wiped out most of my pics on in my OH profile.

I really like your renovation!!!! Especially the over head detail and the tilework stripe. Did you do it yourself or have it done? Im a big project person myself and im always taking on a new one, my DH just rolls his eyes and says, " Bobs at it again" (as in Bob the builder, lol).
Nice job regardless!!
Thanks! No - I hired it out. I'm not handy enough to do something like this, but I DID design it. I found a lot of my inspiration on Pinterest - and just combined elements I liked, put them together - and they worked! I pulled the tub out and put in the shower - love it! It IS the only bath in the house so that's a big step and I had a lot of folks advise me against it, but it's what I wanted.
Here's the other side looking towards the hall.
This is an alcove I had put in - I now have a nice cabinet in there and has increased my storage a lot. Took out a little bit from the room next door.

So cute, Love the floor tile contrast also. I'm planning on doing the same white & blue chair rail thing in my sons room.
But your project is way out of my DIY league as well, no way I ever could have pulled off the curved overhead in the shower. Really pretty though. Did you add a shower curtain, or is the shower head just pointed in? I love the walk-in shower in our house. If it weren't for our 4yr old, the bath would never get used...
I have it designed so a shower door can be put in - and I'd prefer a walk in, but right now I've got a curtain up and that works for now.
I had put the controls for the shower on the right hand side of the shower, with the shower head on the left hand side. That way I could turn the water on without having to get all the way in. Actually, the old design was with both the shower head and controls on the right side wall - but I really wanted a doorless shower... Not sure it will work but we'll see - maybe some day!
