Menus and Miles Tuesday May 19th
Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them occasionally while I'm having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
Happy Tuesday LW's!!! Order more Matrix Chocolate Mint today. I haven't had any problems with my IC for weeks now...YEAH...so I added Wendy's Chili back on to my Menus. I'm puttimg a Splenda packet in to it calm down the spices.

I'm counting down to my last day here. Several people told me this morning they will miss my smiling face. The people here are great, very friendly and complimentary. I do need a break. A part of me would like to work here full time, but there are no openings I'm qualified for, but a part of me also wants to enjoy retirement. I have scrapbooking to do and of course, my quilts. I'm going to attempt to teach my GD to quilt. She enjoys crafts so I think she will want to learn.
I'm thinking about going to see my WL surgeon although I probably won't see him, but his staff. My PC runs does the same blood work as he does, but I think it would be good to see the dietician and hear from her what I really need to be doing. Regular exercise needs to be a part of my day. The dietician I saw in the beginning told me to have at lease 130 carbs daily, but that doesn't seem to work best for me.
Today's eats:
Corozona bar w/smear of peanut butter
Muscle Milk protein drink
2 Cuties
Pastrami deli meat w/cheese
Greek yogurt
Steak, mushrooms, ??

Wow, Jo. 130 carbs, I wouldn't know where to begin to eat that much carby stuff. Low carb really works best for me.

130 Carbs???? WOW...I'm not sure she wanted you to be successful! I might want to go just to question her. That might be ok during the losing stage (would take longer to get to goal) but I can't imagine that many carbs during Maintenance.
Sounds Good!!

We redid our Landscaping last year and some of the things didn't survive the winter. One thing was our Japanese Maple which is upsetting. Fortunately I kept my receipt and tags so I can get them replaced but that means DH has to dig up and replant and he's still not feeling well.
Sounds Good Price!
