Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES  during the Honeymoon Period.

I feel I need to repeat this:  I am a FIRM believer in Whey Protein Drinks!!!!!  I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them occasionally while I'm having a flare up.   It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

Over the Hump Day!!      Feeling Good....After vacation I was up a couple of pounds but this morning I was back in my comfort range!!!!  It took 2 weeks to get those 2 pounds off and I'm hoping the scale stays there now and quits jumping around!   My DD got married 9 years ago today and I was thinking about their wedding and the thoughts of me in my yellow fat Mother's dress sickens me. I'm glad DD# 2 got remarried a couple of years ago just so I had a chance to wear something nice for at least one of my girls weddings.  From her wedding I bought a family picture mounted on canvas and it's hanging on my kitchen wall.  It makes me smile every time I look at. There are no pictures of me out for anyone to see from the other 3 weddings.

YAY for being back down!! :)  My scale finally moved down 2 lbs too, still have a ways to go before I reach my goal though... :/

That is awesome about you having a picture hanging up that makes you smile! :)  I don't like any of my old pictures either...  I love my boyfriend very much and I hope to marry him someday, but I don't want to marry him until after I reach goal and after I have plastic surgery done.  I want to go to Fiji to get married and have our honeymoon... I want to be able to always look back on those pictures and be happy, not sad. :)

Breakfast:  Peanut Butter Cookie shake with carbmaster milk and water (I ran out of milk... only had 4 oz) 28.5 protein

Lunch: Grilled chicken from Wendy's with a slice of cheese melted on top. 31 protein

Snack: Garden side salad from Wendy's with shredded cheddar cheese and lite ranch (I had bought this for lunch, but of course I wasn't hungry after the chicken) 9 protein

Dinner: ?? I never know anymore... But I always stick to plan!  High protein/Low Carb. :)

Vitamins: On track

Water: On track

Exercise:  Doggy class, but also hoping to go for a bike ride after. :)

That sounds like Wonderful Wedding plans!!   I don't get my picture taken much.  I usually shy away from the camera. I'm 62 now and I have a lot more wrinkles now since I lost all of this weight.

Sounds Great!

YAY, IT'S HUMP DAY!!!  The work week is almost over and we'er Halfway to the weekend!!  Can't wait, I bought a new "bikini" for a pool party at a friends house.  It is high waisted bottoms and fringe so you don't really see much belly but hey it's a bikini!!  I have a long way to go before I can do a show "all" bikini but I'm happy with the one I have!!  Stepped on the scale today and thought heck yeah, I am down to 183lbs!!  That's a total of 52lbs lost!!!!  Now I won't change my ticker or anything until after my apt with the doc next month because for some reason his scale is always 2lbs more than mine, not sure why because I tested my scale by putting 10lbs of weights on it and it was dead on.  Anyways, whether I am 183 or 185 (his scale) I'm one happy camper!!  Anyways, I hope everyone is having one heck of a week so far.  Keep up the good work!!!!!

That's awesome!! :)  I have never worn a bikini and I am still not there.... I will have to wait until after plastics to do that.  I just have to much extra skin! :(  I think the ones with the fringe are so cute anyway!! Rock it and have fun at the pool party!!

Thank goodness the extra's are hidden by the high waist bottoms.  I do have some on my inner thighs but that would show no matter what type of swimuite I was wearing.  You know they say you look thinner with a tan so I might just have to look into a really good spray tan place. I have Lupus so I have to be careful of the sun, that means no real tans for me! LOL  I will say Elizabeth I bet you could get away with this particular bikini, it really hides a lot!  Beleive me, I sent pictures to my sister and oldest daughter to make sure I recieved honest feedback before wearing it.  I have NEVER in my life even thought of wearing a bikini let alone ever have enough confidence but these are my friends, I probably wouldn't wear it to the beach (I'm not THAT confident). :)

I just bought 2 swimsuits... I cried on my way home because I have worked hard and come so far, but my thighs are still horrible.  I have always been bottom heavy...  I still have to wear the suits with a skirt or shorts.  BUT NOT FOR LONG! :)

I go tanning, but really shouldn't.  But, I do feel thinner and prettier when I have a nice tan.  I was thinking earlier today I need to look into spray tanning for after plastics so my scars don't darken.  I probably should go ahead and look into spray tanning now.  I've done it before, but I didn't like that it rubbed off on my white bras and tanks.
