Menus and Miles Saturday May 16th
Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them occasionally while I'm having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
Hope your weekend is starting out !! Just looking out my sliding glass door and seeing green grass is enough to start my morning off right!
Our oldest Grandson turns 7 today. He is having a bowling party and he is soooo excited! He wanted a Cookie Cake to celebrate so I don't have to worry about over doing it on Birthday Cake....YEAH!!

Good morning everyone! Looks like rain.....again. It's rained off and on all week. No severe storms but other areas have been hit to hard.
Our church potluck was cancelled this evening so I was glad. I really don't like potlucks. I tend to eat too much although I try to pick only things I really want. You never now what's in most dishes.
I haven't planned my food for today but I know a few things I'll have
B-Corozona bar w/peanut butter-
L-Click shake
D-Crab Cakes
Snacks.....???

We had some cold days this week but we haven't had any storms but it's probably going to catch up with us.
DH won't eat at Pot Lucks because he doesn't know who makes the food. I don't worry about things like that.
I really need to make some crab cakes...YUM!
Sounds Good!!

Your strawberry shake sounds good!! I still have some Jay Robb Vanilla so I need to grab some cottage cheese and a few strawberries and make a shake sometime this weekend.
Sounds like your day is starting out great!!

We are so lucky its been blazing hot the last two days. Still working on the deck...its 600 square ft and we did this new fangled "restore" product that basically coats all the boards to make them look like composite boards. But after Id picked it up, I read a lot of mixed reviews. What we got out of all the research was the boards had to be pristine to be successful, or it would all peel up. Anyways so we've been power washing after work for about two weeks, then last weekend was first coat, this weekend the second. Tired of the deck, but it does really look good...
Food today has been really hodgepodge, a couple of bites squeezed in in between the sweat...
B- Protein Coffee
s- Mozzarella cheese ball @2 oz
L- Chicken salad 2 oz
D- 1 oz steak, 2 brussel sprouts, few bites salad
V & W: getting there
I'm glad it turned out for you and doesn't peel off. We are removing our cement porch the beginning of June and then replacing it plus another section with pre-treated wood. Composite really looks nice but it is so expensive. I might have to look into what you used.
Sounds Good!
