Im having RNY and Thank you so very much for the help.  My job for the next few days is to look into the products everyone mentioned.  Ive also been asked by my surgical bariatric team to be part of a study thats being conducted in CT on taste before and after surgery so i will ask them about these products as well.

Vitalady is still in business but trying to reduce her inventory a bit. They may have a buyer but she intends to stay involved.

Unjury Ckn Soup was my goto protein in the beginning.  The warm Ckn flavor felt so good going down with the added bonus of the protein.  Celebrate vitamins were my first set but my doc sold them at his office so...

But Later I switched to these.  They are a prescription autofill vitamin service by Nascobal delivered mthly to your door that is paid for by insurance (minus whatever your co-pay is mine is $20 a mth for all of them). Heres the link: http://www.nascobal.com/pdfs/FAQsForm.pdf

and your doctor has to sign it since its a prescription. Love that it cheap and I don't have to think about it.

I wanted to do the Nascobal program because my doctor's office offered it but, my insurance did not cover bariatric vitamins and their monthly cost was out of this world! I use Celebrate vitamins... they seem to work okay. I am not far enough out to have labs done yet so hopefully I am getting what I need.

Highest weight - 440 lbs, Surgery weight - 395 lbs, Current weight - 291 lbs.

The celebrate are good vitamins, they seem to be the most commonly used, so im sure youre fine.  I was just syked when I found out about the Others being covered by my Insurance, :-)

I wouldn't go crazy on buying too much right now. What tastes good now may not after surgery. I drank premade Premier Protein as cold as possible before surgery but after surgery I couldn't get it down. I found out that if I heated it up in the microwave, it tasted just like hot chocolate and I liked it. Then about a month or so later that started tasting nasty so I had to go back to cold. I also bought a bunch of stuff to eat, soups and stuff, and most of it is still in the cabinet. Just get a few things and you can always go to the store for more stuff later. I didn't have to take any vitamins but a multi at first so I just took 2 Flintstones a day until after my 1 month check up and then I added calcium. You just shouldn't go crazy yet as things will likely change and you will be wasting a lot of money.

Thank you for the heads up.  I just feel like im not prepared!  What im going to do is order sample packets that were suggested to me and try them after.  Im not going to buy anything in bulk.

Samples, samples, samples!  You can Google the sites and get samples from: Chike (fantastic!), About Time, Unjury and Like others stated Bariatric Pantry/ Baritric Foodie have stores to get shake samples. Also, love, love, love Celebrate chewable vitamins - They give samples. since surgery I take the chewable calcium with d 500 3x a day, multi vitamin complete 2x a day, iron 30mg 1x a day and the b12 sublingual 1x a day. All of my blood work says my levels are great! Water (bottled for me) - crystal light ( simply because I just have to have flavored water) , sugar free Popsicles, yogurt and oatmeal got me through the beginning! Best of luck
