Menus and Miles Tuesday May 12th

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them occasionally while I'm having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

Maintenance: 6+ years out and started the new year right on target!!!
Breakfast:
Protein: Matrix Chocolate Mint 35g
Lunch: Small Wendy's Chili
Snack: 80 Calorie Yogurt with Cherries
Dinner: Not Sure.....need to go to grocery store
Snack: Nature Valley Almond Crunch Bar--YUM!! (ONLY buy the Gluten Free)
Snack: 3 TB. of unpopped Popcorn (didn't start this until I was on Maintenance)

S- @ 20 almonds (need to be careful I don't eat that whole pkg, they are good)

Vits, that was the one area My doc said I need to work on. I always get my am ones in, but forget the PM ones in the rush of the eve...
Maybe you should list your Vits on your Menu. Would that help you to remember them if you have to be accountable to someone? Or set a timer on your phone. Your Protein and Supplements are the two things you should never skip.

Hi Roz, you were back then gone again. Glad you are back with us. I leave Thurs for a horse show and will be gone through the weekend. Trying to get my food act together to take. Drove Teke this afternoon, meetings this morning.

I use to be sooooo good at packing foods and snacks to take with me on trips. That is my goal when the Cheer Season starts up again in the fall.

Wanted to get on and post then it is back to work for me. I need to get payroll keyed tonight because I have to travel to the other library tomorrow and do their payroll and start training a girl there. I'm so ready for this to be over!!

It won't be long and you will be retired!! DH has finally agreed to next February. He will be 64 then. I asked him why he's waiting and he said in Jan. he will get the bonus and vacation he is earning this year.
