I LOVE watermelon! But just 1 cup (balls) = 11.6 grams of carbs and 9.5 grams of sugar. I'll take a small cube but thats about it. I just need a taste.

I love it too. It never upsets my stomach.

Fruits and vegetables are a large part of my daily diet. So good and good for me😄

Some folks early out dump on watermelon.  Be careful.

There is glycemic index and glycemic load (which factors in everything). Although there is sugar in watermelon, because it's 90% water, the glycemic load is no more than an apple. Watermelon rinds may have additional medical benefits. Research by the Agricultural Research Service discovered tha****ermelon rinds contain citrulline. Citrulline creates arginine, an amino acid that makes proteins for your body and plays a role in the relaxation of your blood vessels. Some people have a natural deficiency of arginine. Watermelon rind extract is currently being studied as a possible treatment for angina and other heart and blood conditions. Enjoy!

I have a juicer, and save & add the whole watermelon rinds through the juicer to my green veggie juice. It's not everyone's thing, but I find it an easy way to take in veggies.
