Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!     

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES  during the Honeymoon Period.

I feel I need to repeat this:  I am a FIRM believer in Whey Protein Drinks!!!!!  I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them occasionally while I'm having a flare up.   It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

 

Afternoon LW's!! Same Menu until last year!

 

Maintenance:   6+ years out and started the new year right on target!!!

Breakfast:  

Protein:        Matrix Chocolate Mint 35g      

Lunch:          Small Wendy's Chili

Snack:          80 Calorie Yogurt with Cherries

Dinner:         Grilled KFC

Snack:  Nature Valley Almond Crunch Bar--YUM!! (ONLY buy the Gluten Free)  

Snack:        3 TB. of unpopped Popcorn   (didn't start this until I was on Maintenance)

Breakfast: Mint Matrix Shake with Carbmaster Milk (34 protein, 9 carbs)

Snack: Mixed Nuts (6 protein, 5 carbs)

Lunch: Bumble Bee Albacore Steak (35 protein, 0 carbs)

Snack: Salad (9 protein, 8 carbs)

Dinner:? High protein/Low Carb something

Vitamins: Check

Water: Check

Exercise: Dog Obedience class tonight... This is a workout for me too... LOL

Hi guys!

B protein coffee

L roasted chicken and some broccoli and 2 cubes of honey dew

S 1 ounce cheese with a bran a crisp cracker and a slice of apple

D 2 scrambled eggs and a couple spears of asparagus

S blackberries about a half cup

vites done

liquids, 64 oz

miles got over 11,100 steps on my pedometer so far. Crazy work day!

Drove Teke today and packed the trailer.  I want to get out early and get on the road.  Made pizza chips to take and broccoli/feta salad.  My DD is coming down from Cleveland and I am thrilled to have her visit me at the show this weekend.

pistashios, pizza chip (couldn't help myself)
burger patty, broccoli feta salad

I was gone by the time I got this and never can remember how to reply on my phone.  Pizza chips had a real recipe but it is kind of like protein coffee, everyone makes their own changes.  I usually use 2 large bags of shredded cheese, like a motzerella or Italian mix and a cheddar/Colby or something on that order.  I use low fat or skim milk cheese.  Then either turkey pepperoni diced really small or cooked sausage or ground beef.  Mostly I used sausage TVP after it had been rehydrated and pepperoni.  Add a tbs or so of Italian seasoning, garlic and onion powder and mix it all together well.  Then heat the oven to 350 and using parchment paper, top heaping spoonfuls on the paper (about 1/4c) and coo****il it is all bubbly and I like mine light brown on the edges.  Some folks dip in marinara but I just eat them plain.  The taste like the top of a pizza.  They keep really well and can be frozen or just kept in the frig.

That's Great Price!!  I understand your excitement!!   Our Gym Owner (my Niece) bought a gym about an hour from Cleveland.  My DD is Head Coach for all of the teams there and hoping to draw some kids from the Cleveland Area.  Probably not this year but definitely next year.

Sounds like you have planned well for your trip!

Hi Roz!  Missed you around here!

Carby carby carby.  I was doing well before the wedding and even lost a few lbs.  I'm scared to death to get on the scale and see what has happened....

Drove back to VA today.  

B - coffee x3

L/S - 2 peanut butter and SF jelly sandwiches

D - footlong hotdog.  Ate 1/2 the bun and also ate fries

Vits:  not today

Water:  did pretty good considered I was driving

HW-218/SW-208/CW-126/ Lowest Weight-121/Goal-125 - hit 8/23/09/Height-5'3"

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it.  Took 8 months. 
90+/- pounds lost      
BMI - 24 or so
Starting BMI between 35 and 40ish?
