From post op to 6 days out. Total 20 days. Total lost 10 pd???

Hi, Is this normal weight lose. I started at 206. I completed 2 weeks of opi-fast and in my 6th day post op. I have lost only 10 pd in 20 days Grrrrr!

Please someone tell me to stop whining because I am doing fine.

You're totally doing fine.  Lightweights may lose pounds slower, but the percentage you have lost is great.  Just stick to it and it will continue in that direction.

Thanks needed to hear that. The last three weeks have been brutal basically opifast and water.

Also remember that they pump you full of fluid for surgery because they know we will have a hard time with fluid in the beginning.  Plus everything is swollen.  Many folks take about a week just to get back to surgery weight. So yes, you are fine.  Hang in there and follow your plan.

Plus as your body heals, there is swelling (also known as water retention)  That'll drop off as you heal. 

You are doing great as far as loss though.  Think in terms of %'s.  You have lost 10 lbs of your 77 lbs of excess.  That's 13% of your excess in less than one mth, or over 1/10 of your excess weight gone in 20 days.  You go girl, you are well on track!

You are absolutely right - PERCENTAGES are more important than pounds.  I'm going to have to brush up on my math skills.

I think a half a pound a day is pretty awesome!!  Keep up the great work!

5'5" 64 year old; HW 219; SW 199; CW 129; GW 145ish (original)...now on to "ideal" (138)...got that...now a few spare (132)...got that one, too! Now for the 120's!! Made them...now for the "dream" weight...125! Well, that one's proving to be a little tougher!
