Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!     

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES  during the Honeymoon Period.

I feel I need to repeat this:  I am a FIRM believer in Whey Protein Drinks!!!!!  I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them occasionally while I'm having a flare up.   It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

 

Happy Friday!!  One week from today I will be landing in Sunny Florida...YEAH!!!    

Maintenance:   6+ years out and started the new year right on target!!!

Protein:       Matrix Mint Cookie 35g

Breakfast:  

Snack:         Meat and Cheese Roll-up

Lunch:         Roast Beef and 80 Calorie Greek Yogurt with Cherries

Snack:         Laughing Cow Cheese Wedge and 6 Saltines

Dinner:        Steak

Snack:          Nature Valley Almond Crunch Bar--YUM!! (ONLY buy the Gluten Free)

Snack:        3 TB. of unpopped Popcorn   (didn't start this until I was on Maintenance)

Happy Friday!!!  I am beyond ready for the weekend!!! :)  I know you are excited for Florida!!! :)

Breakfast: Matrix Mint Cookie with Carbmaster Milk (34 protein)

Snack: Bell Peppers dipped in Lite Italian dressing

Lunch: Leftover Chickan & Pasta Primavera (13 protein)

Snack: Cheese Stick (5 protein)

Dinner: ?? Something protein... numbers are a little low today

Water: On track

Vitamins: On track

I can't wait for warm weather but I'm very excited about being with 2 of our DD's and 5 of our Grandkids for 10 days!!

Have you tried just using water in your Mint Cookie?

I have, but I like the carbmaster milk better.... and it ups the protein.  8 oz of carbmaster milk (made by Kroger) has 60 calories, 0 fat, 3 carbs and 11 protein. :)

And my morning snack (that didn't have a protein value anyway) had mold on it! :/ No veggies for me today.  I may have another protein shake this afternoon.  I really need to get it in.

Hi Roz!

Today is a gorgeous day here in MI - one of the nicest so far this spring.  Next week doesn't look so good so I'm going to try and take advantage of it today and tomorrow.

Today is my SIL's birthday.  We'll be grilling out

B - coffee x2, 2 pieces of bacon and 2 eggs w/1 piece of wheat toast (didn't eat all the eggs)

L - I have a turkey breast I put in the crock pot yesterday - may eat some of that.

D - BBQ'ing

HW-218/SW-208/CW-126/ Lowest Weight-121/Goal-125 - hit 8/23/09/Height-5'3"

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it.  Took 8 months. 
90+/- pounds lost      
BMI - 24 or so
Starting BMI between 35 and 40ish?

This sounds like a much better day....!!   We are getting our Beautiful day tomorrow.  I think it's going to be 76 out. I'm going to work on cutting back my rose bushes and cleaning up outside.
