I hope you are feeling better today (Wed.)!! It could be because you haven't gotten your fluids in for a couple of days.  When I am out in the heat or haven't gotten my liquids in I get very shaky and emotional. Just in the last year I've figured linked it to dehydration.

Hope you finished your day out some Protein!

Thank you!  I am feeling better and drinking my water.  I think part of it was my lady friend paying her monthly visit a little early, but it could also be my not getting my fluids!  I need to stay on that and do better.  I am doing better today! :)

I did!  I made a chicken breast and broccoli stir fry!  It was delicious!

Good afternoon everyone.  I took yesterday off from my temp job.  Just needed a break.  I'll be so glad when I done here.  It was supposed to end this month, but looks like it could extend to the end of June.  I plan to take the summer off.  I went to the orthopedic doctor with my husband who complains of knee problems.  He had the meniscus repaired but still has pain so the doctor said he could schedule a knee replacement although it's not bone on bone.  The insurance company refused.  DH was not happy.  He focuses way too much on health issues.  Drives me nuts.

I did get my modern quilt top finished so now I need to quilt it.  Can't wait to hang it in my living room.  Finally, something for me.

I remarked a couple days ago about being reamed out on another board so I was ready to just quit posting.  That has never happened here and I really enjoy this group.  Anyway, one of my remarks that set the person off was a comment about lightweights.  I was explaining to a poster about what is considered a lightweight.  This person told me she didn't understand why anyone would call themselves a lightweight.  If you lost 70 lbs. as I did you were still very overweight and certainly not lightweight.  She made numerous other comments so I blocked her.

Today's eats:

Click shake in almond milk

Beef stick

Premier protein

Chicken enchilada - homemade

Roadside Lemonade in water to sip all afternoon

Not sure what dinner will be.

So far:  87 grams protein; 9 grams fiber; 46 carbs; 840 calories

I can understand the posters reasoning about "lightweight"  So many of our posters (including myself) have never thought of themselves as lightweights but as a Group Title I think it's perfect for us. That same person would probably be the first one to tell a "lightweight" they didn't need to have WLS to loose weight.

Does your insurance company have a person who fights for you?  My DH constantly has something wrong with him. Like this week after his bowel obstruction he keeps complaining about his back hurting, his stomach being nauseated, and that his liver enzymes are elevated.  I keep telling him those things are normal  but he thinks something  terrible is going to happen.  He drives me nuts too!!!

Sounds Good!

Good for you Blocking her.  I think being on the internet gives people the feeling they can say things they'd never say to your face.  What business is it of hers anyways.

There weren't any support groups where I live when I was in my Honeymoon Period.  We finally got a Surgeon who performs WLS who holds a support group and when I went there to get my gallbladder out the nurse asked me to come to a meeting but that was after I had lost my weight plus he really pushes the band and I know way to many people who have gained their weight back from that so I don't think I could have helped much.

You'll have to let us know which Proteins you liked.  If they don't have Matrix or Syntrax samples you might want to suggest those.  A lot of us use them.  You can get a 15 sample packets for $16.99 at https://www.si03.com/reg_index.htm.

Sounds like a Good Day for You!!
