Our taxes were filed early February and the refund received.  For 7 years I worked in the tax dept. of an accounting firm.  Don't miss those days at all.

I'm wearing a new dress today and have received several compliments.  It is SO cute.  It was on clearance at QVC.  The only 2 colors left were red and black with a swirly design.  I debated on the red because I generally don't wear red.  It fits perfectly and I feel so good in it.  The hem is shorter in front and gradually gets longer in the back.  I'm short so most things are too long, but this is perfect.

My GD will be eating with us this evening.  She absolutely loves meatballs so we are having spaghetti and meatballs and green beans.  I will skip the spaghetti.

In my old life, I always fixed my lunch for the next day right after dinner.  I really don't like leftovers but sometimes I will bring whatever we had for dinner.  In my new life, the thought of fixing any leftovers for the next day turns me off so I fix my lunch just before I go to bed.  In my old life I ate a lot of Lean Cuisine and Smart Ones.  Now, they are too high in carbs, sodium and who knows what else so I don't eat them.  I much prefer fresh food.

My arm is aching from patting myself on the back.  I have been riding my stationary bike for 30 minutes each evening.

The scale was down Monday morning but up again today.  Grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Today's eats:

B: Click shake in almond milk

S: Pure protein bar

L:  Grilled beef burger w/American cheese; applesauce

S:  Roadside Lemonade

D:  Meatballs & green beans

S:  Skinny Pop.....I know I should probably NOT.

Hi Roz,

Still broke out and itching, but I refuse to go to another doctor after the March that we had.  I'm just going to wait and see if it goes away.  I will be glad when this week at work is over.  So many deadlines this week...and I'm off Friday again.  We are interviewing for my replacement next week - that should be interesting.  At least we do have some excellent candidates.
