WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them occasionally while I'm having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
Afternoon!!! I haven't gotten groceries for over a week and our cupboards are bare!! I ran to Arby's and my Director and I split the buy one get one Turkey Club. Way to much for me to eat!
I've been drinking one Matrix Mint Cookie Protein Drink a day without a problem so I decided yesterday to add in a Syntrax Lemon Tea. Only drank 1/2 of it and my bladder started cramping. I guess that kinds going to be on hold for awhile.
Today is my youngest DD's birthday. How can my baby be 34????
Maintenance: 6+ years out and started the new year right on target!!!
Breakfast: 1/2 cup of Oatmeal
Snack: Banana
Lunch: 1/2 Arby's turkey sandwich
Snack: Maybe the insides of the rest of the Arby's sandwich
Protein:
Dinner: Not sure...DH is still on soft foods
Snack: 3 TB. of unpopped Popcorn (didn't start this until I was on Maintenance)

I just love musicals and plays! My DGD got a lead in a play but I can't remember what the name of it is. Her dream is to go to NYC to perform. My dream is going to NYC and if she performs there that's an added bonus. My cousins DD has a Theatric (?) school in NYC called NiCori Studios and Productions.

I'm going to guess that the tea has a filler in it that irritates you.

Pretty day here. I walked early and drove Teke around noon. I have a kid coming today to start helping in the barn in return for riding lessons. We'll see how it works.
