Pain in breast bone (between the boobs)
I don't know if I'm sipping too much or what but I get this terrible pain between my breasts at certain times.
My dr told me I had a short torso so I know my stomch starts higher but Gosh!
I'm having trouble getting all the protein and water in because I have just about thrown up several times so now I'm just scared.
I did try some sugar free jello and that was a treat!!
all in all today has been much better than yesterday.
When was your surgery? I had an awful time with pain - and it was leftover gas in me. It hurt! They put gas in your to "blow you up" so they can move around inside easier - it doesn't all come out when they put you back together... It takes a bit before it's all gone.

My idea also was gas but you may be taking too big a sip. I also could not do cold. Warm sat much better. Take it slow, tiny sips, warm instead of cold. Add protein to whatever you are taking. Unflavored protein can be added to herb tea and broth. I hate jello so that and cold popcycles didn't work for me but warm herb tea with unflavored protein was great, as was Unjury chicken soup protein.

I remember at two days out they took me off my pain liquid button in the hospital (still can't believe you are home after 1 day!), I so missed that thing. But anyways, the nurses were late with my meds, I was bawling with the pain & then I threw up and it all just continued to get worse. My point is you are still early, so if you are in pain, and you have them avail, take the meds, your body will heal faster if you are feeling better.
All that aside it really might be gas and walking helps to relieve that. Also agree with the warm fluids, Chicken Broth was my goto. I really hope you continue to fell better!
