Home within 24 hours of having VSG

I am so glad to be home. My surgery started late because the one before mine had a complication. But I got it done and I'm home within 24 hours.

VSG on 04-08-15, Weight Day of Surgery 219, M1-15 lbs, M2-17 lbs, M3-10 lbs; M4-6

Wow, that is quick. I was in for 2 nights with RNY and I was happy to be there but ready to go home when it was time. I was retaining fluid and needed Lasix 2x.

Rest, sip, walk, repeat. Your job for the next few days is to get your fluid in. You can wait on everything else if you can get your fluid in.
