Hi All I posted this before but I wanted to update it below. My Surgeon & Nut set me up with this program that is going to give me my Bariatric Vitamins w/only the prescription copay via my Insurance.  They deliver them to my home once a mth for the rest of my life.  No need for refills, etc.  I'm Tricare, but she said they take most insurance with the exception of Medicaid/Medicare.

Hope this works for some of you too Heres the link: http://www.nascobal.com/Prescriber_Fax_Form_BariActiv_NAS00_ 0502-1.pdf and your doctor has to sign it since its a prescription.

So Heres the update:  I got the vitamins, Tricare ended up paying 100%.  The vitamins get mailed to my house every mth. and they taste way better than the celebrate chewables in my opinion. They are quick dissolving ones (as per the label) but really they take more than a few seconds.    On the other post someone suggested using a temp Visa to place the initial order if you were uncomfortable giving the company your financial info.  I guess the highest any insurance is supposed to charge is $25 a mth, but TRICARE was free.

I am really happy with the process! Gotta like free stuff especially when you have to take them for the rest of your life...

Interesting... back in the early days (when I had my surgery) I used to be able to write them off my flexible spending with a note from the DR - but when all the change**** I couldn't anymore.

I'm curious how my insurance would handle this since it's a tiered fee based system.  I guess looking into it can't hurt!

Uh oh - I'm getting a 404 error when clicking the link.  try this link:  http://www.nascobal.com/patient/nas13-patient-1-3-4.html

Thanks!
