Menus and Miles for Roz - Friday, April 10th

Hi all!  Roz must be busy again today so I'll get this started.

Cool and dreary here in VA but it's supposed to hit 74... we'll see!  More rain coming too - better than snow!

I did well with my eating yesterday.  I didn't get my protein drink in but I was STUFFED!  I saved it for my LNS - and I ate dinner at 8pm - so there was no room for it.  I'm ok with that - no snacking yesterday either.

Menu for today:

B - coffee x1

L- leftover low-carb meatloaf (it was good - now it's gone!)

S - found some cucumbers in the fridge that needed to be cut/eaten.  I bought them to make a cucumber/tomato salad but never got around to it.  Cut them up, a little salt - and I've got me a good snack!  I'll save some of these for later too

D - sushi.  again... yes, I will turn into a fish ;)

S - cucumbers or my protein shake

Vits:  yes

Water:  low - need to get started

Sounds like you're doing well. Hope Roz and her hubby are doing ok.

B 1.5 protein coffees

L 2 scrambled eggs and 3 slices of bacon

D cheeseburger minus the bun, salad with ranch and a 2 short diet cokes with rum

Vits done

Liquid 64 oz

Miles, not sure house work today

Debating that, going out tonight with friends, and my dilemma is rum and diet coke, or do I have a Guiness? I have developed quite a fondness for a pint of the dark stuff! 

To carb or not to carb, that is the question???

go for the rum and diet - that will have less carbs than the beer.  The beer is my downfall...

1 shot of Capt Morgan has .4 carbs and 86 calories -  1 pint of Guinness has 10 carbs...I was surprised tho - the calories were only 127.  I thought they'd be more.

This cold is really kicking my butt. I have been up since 4:00 a.m. Now I am coughing that dry, unproductive hack and my chest is tight. Ugh. Yesterday was a very good day food wise. Doubt I will feel up to the treadmill today!

B-crust less veggie/turkey sausage/egg beaters quiche

S-American cheese on a rice cake :-(

L-salad with chicken

S-hopefully a protein shake

D-out tonight

S-protein bar?

Hope you're feeling better!  I know when I'm sick all good eating habits are out the door and I eat whatever makes me feel better - at that moment.  Not the right thing to do, but the way it goes for me.
