Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES  during the Honeymoon Period.

I feel I need to repeat this:  I am a FIRM believer in Whey Protein Drinks!!!!!  I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them occasionally while I'm having a flare up.   It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

Good Morning LW's!!!!   I know I post the same speech above every day but have you read lately?  Even a few bites of carbs can set you off for disaster.

If you eat those little bites and the scales go down you can fool yourself into thinking you can get away with it.  Soon those little bites turn into a bigger handful.  On Maintenance those little bites will move the scales up.  Every day someone on Maintenance is fighting the carb monster.

Is your Protein Water...Whey Protein?

Sounds Good!

Rainy, gloomy day but we don't have snow.  We have a few days of beautiful warm days then the temp drops for a few days.

My Click has made me feel yucky the last 2 mornings.  It's that feeling you get when eat too many cookies or over endulge in sweets.  I know.....no one but me has every done that.  Tomorrow I will have protein coffee then oatmeal a mid morning.

Eats today:

Click shake w/almond milk

Weight Control oatmeal

Egg Salad w/veggie chips; spinach salad w/ranch dressing & blue cheese crumbles

Roadside Lemonade mixed in water

NV Almond Crunch bar

Not sure about dinner.  It may be breakfast.

I like the taste of Click too but the caffeine is too much for me - AND I drink fully caffeinated coffee!  There may be a filler in it that doesn't agree with me....

Hi Roz - have you been adding your protein drinks back in?  If so, how have you been feeling?  I know you mentioned it sometime last week.

Not feeling the best today so not really sure what's on the menu.  I didn't end up eating much for dinner last night - just my mashed cauliflower.

B - 1 coffee w/creamer

L - sushi (yes, I can pretty much eat this anytime - lol)

D - not sure.  I still have that chicken and I may look up a chicken stew recipe.  Sounds like comfort food.

Vits:  not yet but will.  I've also been very good about taking my Famitodine (OTC stomach acid reducer) and I've found that has definitely helped with the grouchy pouch.

Water:  doing good.

Hi Roz,

I woke up this morning with the pressure back in my ear so I called and got an appointment with an Ear, Nose & Throat doctor as the last doctor suggested.  The ENT advised my ear did not have pressure in it, did not have fluid in it and my ear drum was fine.  She said it was TMJ(my jaw).  I have had TMJ years ago and it was extremely painful - I am not having pain but she said you don't have to have pain.  They also said I had hearing loss and needed hearing aids-I told them I could still hear what I wanted to hear and would wait on the hearing aids!!!  I called my dentist and got another mouth piece to sleep in like I had years ago.  I grind my teeth and clench my jaws really tight at night - I think it is my Type A personality coming out at night.  I am so tired of this and ready for it to be gone...

DD has an interview at another school tomorrow afternoon - please say a prayer for her - she really needs a change!
