I just keep picking myself up and moving forward

While I have not fallen into an easy groove yet, I am able to say I never give up. Many days are tough, some days are a food disaster, but I refuse to give in. Never will I surender and go back to what I was before surgery. A few pounds is nothing. 70 pounds would be my personal failure. Thank you for your love and support.

Keep pushing forward. Each step is what counts always keep a positive attitude about things. I wanted to give up but I didn't I continue to push forward. I totally understand how your feeling.  Good luck and remember a loss is a loss and if you gain a little you can always get back to that first number.  Never let the scale control you.

Jennifer,

I try not to get on the scale because when I do it becomes an obsession. Thanks for your comments!

Ellen, take it one day at a time.  Sometimes you need to do one hour at a time.  Do you knit or crochet or enjoy a hobby that takes both hands?

Grazing was a problem for me so I set times for snacks and that really helped.  Cookies are my red light food.  DH loves them too but I have him put the out of sight.

Don't get discouraged.  Keep positive.

Like someone else said just take it hour by hour if you need to. That's what I had to do. Sometimes it was minute by minute!!!  I'm not kidding!!! You can do it
