It's happened

I've been having issues with constipation too. I started taking Mirilax and that has really helped. I was passing hard rocks too:/ Sometimes not going for a week at a time.
Hey Jenna77, may I make a suggestion that a fellow WLS Lightweight made to me? Get rid of the scale, weigh yourself once a month, you will not notice stalls or plateaus. You ARE going to lose weight!!! It will happen! Take care of doing what you know you need to do (water, protein, exercise, taking care of yourself) the weight will come off. Best wishes!
Thanks CareBear! Idk if I could hide the scale that long to be honest lol. But I may think about if it gets to bothering me too much.
It does help to remind myself that I will lose the weight! It just may take longer than I like, but faster than if I hadn't had surgery.

Have stopped losing pounds but am losing inches!
I had to ask my husband to hide ours! At first it kind of freaked me out and now I don't even care. It's obvious I'm changing, clothes are too big, body is smaller I was going to weigh myself on Tuesday because it would have been eight weeks from surgery but I FORGOT!! When my DH asked me if I wanted to weigh myself the next day I was like no, maybe next week, lol!
I'm an every morning weigher and personally it helps me stay on track. I'm not obsessed about it or get upset over the numbers though. Stalls do happen. If you are in a stall for more than a couple of weeks try increasing your good Protein and then drop back down to your norm.
I'm glad to hear you are using Protein to get your totals in. Is it GOOD Whey Protein? It makes a big difference if you are using cheaper Protein from a discount store or those Kellogg's Protein packets.
I struggled with my bowels during the losing stage but its gotten better now.

God is walking with me every step of the way. Because of HIM this is possible!!

I replied it double posted then deleted both. Grr. Anyways, I have always been a every morning weigher. Just a habit.
Oh, it is good protein. It is the Isopure unflavored. I got it on sale at GNC thank goodness bc it was it was really high before. Mixing the amount up is a good idea. I never would have thought about that Roz! I also have the chocolate body fortress but have only used it once or twice. I'm getting a lot more pickier. So far I have been doing two isopure drinks then the rest from food.
Hopefully the Miralax works soon. I wonder if it is safe to take linzess(sp?). I may call and ask bc I have some left over.

Is Linzess a laxative? were you prescribed it after surgery? My doc gave me Ducolax right after the surgery. My thought on that, is if was safe to take immediately after when you are most weak, it should be fine now. I told my doc at the one mth mark apt I was occasionally using the ducolax and he said it was fine although he encouraged me to up my water levels also.
I took it way before ever having surgery. It's like a laxative but not. It's prescription only.
