Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them occasionally while I'm having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
Good Morning LW's!!!! Hope you all had a successful weekend!!

I had a very enjoyable weekend, but yesterday was NOT my best day for food choices. My husband has been wanting to try Slim Chicken. They are a sponsor of the hockey team. With a name like that, I thought there would be healthy choices. Not a one except salad. It was $7.99 and had no protein. I chose the 3 chicken strips. The chicken was delicious, not greasy or heavily breaded. I wasn't sure it would stay down until I could get home. I chewed some antacids, but I will say there is no need for a laxative.
Today's eats:
B: Click shake
S: NV Almond Crunch Bar -I found your bars Roz at Target. Very good.
L: Salad w/blue cheese crumbles, chicken; orange
S: Greek yogurt with a few blackberries
D: Ground beef something; asparagus
S: PB shake

You would think that "Slim" Chicken would have something healthy.....LOL.
Sometimes we just have to make the best choices we can and accept it. Targets the only place I can find my bars too. They have them on sale quite often.
Sounds like a great day for you!!!

Hello Everyone! I think I had an experience of "dumping syndrome" today! I know some people don't believe that VSG's can have it but I'm pretty sure I did. It was a horrible experience I thought my stomach was being torn in two! I was sweaty, my heart was beating rapidly I actually was having difficulty breathing for a while and thought I might need to go to the hospital, I had bloating, then vomiting and diarrhea (sorry if that's TMI) but the worst part was the pain! I actually thought I might die! My DH and DM were so worried about me they thought I might too. Whew! I'm feeling better now - not 100% but so much better.

Started out with a great day and ended up in the ER. Drove Teke, went to a meeting, went to Muscle Pump. Worked really hard there, to the point of nausea and lightheadedness. Came home and after an hour hadn't recovered so went to the ER thinking it may be heart. Nope, every test came back normal. BP was really high when I went in, 118/56 when I left. Feel ok this morning, just tired
