Disgusted with myself-again
The wonderful journey we are all on. I am five years post r/y...and doing really well.
The secret for me was to replace the stress eating, and depressed eating with excercise at first I had to force myself to go. Now excercise has become my go to when I feel stress taking over...I hit the road for a walk. I also go to the gym twice a week and noticed that in gym days I could handle stressful situations much better!! Essentially, a bomb could go off, and I would handle it much better on gym days....my eating habits are also better on gym days....perhaps the benefits of all the extra natural endorphins. Don't be hard on yourself, it's a journey, not a destination. Be proud that you are still learning how to drive your new body and life ...nothing worthwhile comes easy....hugs
