Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!     

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES  during the Honeymoon Period.

I feel I need to repeat this:  I am a FIRM believer in Whey Protein Drinks!!!!!  I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them occasionally while I'm having a flare up.   It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

Didn't get to eat yesterdays roast.  DH was at the ER with another heart attack scare.  He's fine but he needs to retire!!!

Maintenance:   6+ years out and started the new year right on target!!!

Breakfast:   Scrambled Egg, Eggbeater Whites, Diced Ham

Lunch:         Apple....Not Sure What Else

Snack:         80 Calorie Lite n fit Cherry Greek Yogurt

Snack:         1 Laughing Cow Lite Swiss wedge with 6 Saltines

Dinner:        Roast

Snack:         Nature Valley Almond Crunch Bar--YUM!!  (only buy Gluten Free)

Snack:         3 TB. of Popcorn

Good Morning Roz!  I'm sorry to hear about your DH, I hope he feels better today! I didn't eat exactly as I planned yesterday (I ended up eating less and having less protein) so today I've planned my day differently so if I don't feel like eating tonight I will still have my protein in!

B:  2 coffee w/ 1/2 & 1/2 (3 g)

S:  Protein Shake (30 g)

Morning Drinking Protein Powder in my water (21 g)

L:  Scallops wrapped in bacon with ****tail sauce (24 g)

S:  Protein Shake (30 g)

Afternoon drinking protein powder in my water (21 g)

D: 2 oz ground beef w/fat free gravy & 1 tsp salsa (14 g)

S:  F/F pudding with cool whip (small amount of protein but I can't remember how much)

Total Protein 143 g

DH is much better since he knows he didn't have another heart attack.  No knowing was making him worse.

Sounds like a plan!!  Good Protein total!!!

OOOh CareBear I wanna know about those scallops. they sound yummy, did you buy them or make them?  Inquiring minds wanna know!!!

I had them out at a restaurant and then last night I went to the grocery store and found some in the frozen food aisle already made up.  Yummy!

I hope DH is going to be ok... that's got to be SO scary!! 

I've been eating bad.  When I mean bad, I mean carby bad.  I've only got 6 weeks to get this body in shape for the wedding and it seems like I'm just sabatoging myself.  I HAVE to get back to basics.  I've gotten away from my protein drinks since I went to Houston.

Today:

B - coffee x2

L - leftover pork chop and grilled veggies

S - protein drink

D - leftover quesadilla mix on low carb tortilla

vits:  yes

water:  working on it. 

HW-218/SW-208/CW-126/ Lowest Weight-121/Goal-125 - hit 8/23/09/Height-5'3"

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it.  Took 8 months. 
90+/- pounds lost      
BMI - 24 or so
Starting BMI between 35 and 40ish?

Sometimes the harder I try the worse I do.  Didn't use to make Protein coffee?  When I start my morning off with Protein I seem to do a lot better.

I'm looking forward to Thursday menu.

Those trips to the ER are scary.  My husband had 2 strokes in May, 1994.  Never had any health problems prior to that.  Since then, he's had numerous strokes and TIA's so if doesn't feel right he thinks he might be having another stroke.  I've spent many, many hours in the ER.

I didn't stick to my plan yesterday at the birthday party.    It started at 7:00 p.m. and by that time we're finished with dinner.  I was really hungry.  I had a burger which was fine but......I also had onion rings.  Of course, I went home and took several antacids.  DH had a milkshake with dinner plus a Hot Fudge Sundae for dessert.  Michael, my great nephew said he was too old for birthday cake.  His grandmother decorates cakes but he didn't want one.  His grandfather was greatly disappointed.  I never eat the cake because I don't really care for cake and the icing makes me sick.

For the last 40 years we have had excellent insurance but this year they switched us to a high deductible so he put off going. Not know made him even worse but he's feeling a little better now.

I hate it when my plans don't work out as I planned.  I love onion rings but they are so greasy I can usually only handle one.  My families use to me eating off of their plates....LOL.

Today looks strong!!!

So sorry to hear about your scare last night, his job must be too stressful! Glad he is ok. Guess you have dinner for tonight though.

miles, not sure at appointment with step son today. None, but I will make up for it the next two days at work, I am sure
