Yeah Price, I finally was successful... not sure why it took me so long to get it right, it wasn't really that hard...But I am sitting at my desk drinking my huge glass of Protein Lemon Tea w/ a spike of crystal light, and it tastes good!

Thanks for bearing with me on this...

It sure makes it easier to get your protein AND fluid in when you like what you are drinking.  And I really cheat when I always put lemon tea on my menu.  Sometimes it is caribean cooler protein instead of lemon tea but I love both of them.  Of course part of it may be that your taste are going back to normal and things will start tasting better anyway?

I have been mixing the Cherry Syntrax Nectar with Fruit Punch Crystal Light and Grape Nectar with Grape Crystal Light.  I was thinking of trying the Lemon Tea... I must have missed the previous conversation about it... What do you mix it with?  I'm not a big fan of Lemonade... but I was thinking of mixing it with decaf tea??

I mix it with peach tea or lemon tea if I am drinking it warm.  Oh yeah, also with Mango Peach.

Thanks!  I would be drinking it cold, but mixing it with peach tea sounds great! :)

Which protein have you found to work the best for warm tea-consistency drinks?  Cold, I almost expect a shake like texture.  But hot, I want everything to mix smoothly and not precipitate out. Is there one that seems to work better than others?  Thanks!!!

I do my syntrax lemon tea warm.  I use a 20oz blender bottle (do not shake hot liquid) with warm water and a tube of peach tea generic crystal light.  Mix about 1/2 cup of warm water with 1 to 1/2 scoop of lemon tea protein then add to the warm water.  If you get it too hot, you will curdle the protein which is pretty nasty but I can get it warm enough to be good for me.  Don't nuke the protein.  If you leave it sitting, it will settle but a quick shake will mix it again.  So good in the cold weather, plus early out, I didn't do cold very well.

I know I tried unflavored Syntrax with herbal tea but I don't remember what happened.  Sorry.  It was 4 yrs ago.

I'm making mine w/ tap water & then adding in 1/2 pkg CL peach mango tea.  I make it the night before w /32 oz water, 1 scoop Syntrax Lemon tea & the 1/2 pkg Crystal light and then refridge it to take to work next day.  Then it sits on my desk all day and I sip on it, so it runs the full gamut of temps.  Still tastes good.

Thanks, guys--so helpful!  I think having a plan for variety is going to be key to getting me through the first few months.  I can drink the same thing over and over and love it...and then one day?  It just makes me want to gag, and I never want it again.  So I definitely need a solid strategy for mixing things up.  This sounds like something I'd really like--can't wait to try it!

One of my favorites is a root beer float protein shake. Just diet root beer and vanilla powder. Make the pop flat first by shaking a little at a time.

I also like the lemon tea👍
