Menus and Miles Sunday March 8th
Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them occasionally while I'm having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
Morning LW's!!!!

Forgive me for hte silly question, but regarding your snack: can you clarify if the three TBs are pre-popping? I'm pre-VSG, and love popcorn, so am eager to understand how much I can have later. (I imagine it is the case this is a measurement pre-popping, since 3TB cooked popcorn is probably three kernels )
No question is Silly!!! 3 TBS unpopped. It makes me a nice big bowl. I held off having it because I thought it would stick but it goes down really easy. I use a microwave popper and add 1 TBS oil and salt.

Not a silly question on the popcorn, I' m curious on the answers too. My boys (DH & DS) make a bag and at most I've eaten one kernel because I think of it as a carb, so im really trying to stay away...
B - 2 oz of Ham & Ch omelete
L Double mint chip protein shake 48 gP
S cottage cheese 2 tblsp
D-unsure The family is doing "the bounce house" and will have to grab something out
D Double protein something either shake or chkn broth
3TBS. unpopped. If you eat it plain It's a GOOD carb. Whole grain and no added sugars. I use a microwave popper with 1 TBS oil and salt. Gets my bowels moving every day.
Sounds Good!
