One week post op

I have not had the easiest first week post op. But I got my stitches and drain removed today and y'all.. I feel like a new woman!!! The drain was causing excruciating pain and it was hard to walk. I have had two c-sections and this pain was worse than even those! Anyways- it was odd getting it removed and everything felt really hollow when it was gone. But gone was the pain with moving and sitting up. My other incisions had already stopped hurting so now that this is no longer hurting I feel amazing!!

However, the nurses could not get a blood pressure on me for the longest today.. so that interesting. The machine wouldn't pick it up because it was so low. Finally a second nurse got it.. 102/70 i'd say that isn't too bad! I am also down 10 pounds since surgery morning but down 25 since my first consult! :)) I am so close to ONEderland!!!

Sorry for rambling just extra excited!!

the first week is a b*^#%, but it doesn't last forever.  And it all should be getting easier and easier now.  Still, rest, sip, walk, repeat.

Hurray for the weight loss.  Considering the fact that they pumped you full of fluids for surgery, that is a great loss.  It only gets better!!!
