I just saw that this "lightweights" board is for those with BMIs under 40, and I love it! When I started my 6-month pre-op process in October, my BMI was just over 50. It's now 39.9 and will hopefully be around 36 by surgery time. I'm so proud to have hopped from "BMI over 50" to "WLS lightweights" before even going under the knife!
Welcome aboard!

I hear you!! I had to play the game and try to keep mine right around the 40 mark so my insurance would approve. Now doing the pre-op diet I think my bmi is 38 if you say I am 5' 7" and if you say what I lived by all my life that I am 5'8" then it is 36.9. I will find out on Tuesday for sure what it is, currently from my scale the above figures is what I have. Anyway it goes....Hey I'm a light weight too!!! My surgery is Tuesday and I can't wait!!
Welcome!!! You have done great so far and will continue to. Surgery will give you a fighting chance to keep it off and a tool for the rest of your life.
