Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES  during the Honeymoon Period.

I feel I need to repeat this:  I am a FIRM believer in Whey Protein Drinks!!!!!  I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them occasionally while I'm having a flare up.   It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

Morning LW's!!!!  Baby update:  Baby Kingston's birth has been moved up till Tuesday!!!

Maintenance:   6+ years out and started the new year right on target!!!

Breakfast:  Scrambled Egg, Eggbeaters, 1 piece of bacon

Lunch:

Snack:      Nature Valley Almond Crunch...YUMMY Nuts (Only buy the Gluten Free the plain ones are to sweet)

Dinner:

Snack:      80 Calorie Lit n Fit Greek Yogurt with Cherries

Snack:      3 TB. of Popcorn

God is walking with me every step of the way. Because of HIM this is possible!!

So tonight is my first big event since surgery.  My DH and I are going out of town to my sisters and attending a formal party.  My sister is brining a meat/cheese/pickle tray and making reduced sugar cookies (I might have a bite).  I'll be dancing the night away! I'm going to stay on point for my food intake and burn up some extra calories on the dance floor.  I keep reminding myself 2 oz of protein and 1/4 to 1/2 cup pureed vegetables is supper! Happy Saturday Everyone!!!

I read all my labels; measure my food and if there is no label I have a list (that I got from Brigham Young's Women's Website VSG Diet) it has a listing of types of food, serving sizes and lists protein, carbs, etc) and if that doesn't work I do a Google!  I hope that helps!
