Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
Over the Hump day!! I'm am doing the because we have so many new posters on M&M!!!! I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them occasionally while I'm having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
DD#3 and our future Grandson are doing well this morning. She said she can't stop cleaning today. If old wives tells are true maybe Kingston will make his appearance sooner than next Thursday which would be OK with me.....

Protein Shake (30 grams Protein)
Tuna (15 grams Protein)
Greek Yogurt (12 grams of protein)
2 oz lean ground beef (8 grams of protein)
Total: Other than the miniscule amounts in the 1/2 & 1/2 and the cheese: 65 grams of protein - I guess I will be drinking that other protein shake to bring up the protein to 95 grams. Thanks Roz!
The D can for anything you want it to be. I think Darling but others think Darn or something worse....LOL. It gets tricky when it comes to DSIL it could be sister-in-law or son-in-law.
Sounds Good!

Hi Roz. No news on this end today either. I know in the past Nicole had her "burst" of energy before she had the baby... no energy boost yet, but the girls are keeping her busy!
My menu yesterday changed a little - ended up having sushi for dinner (yum).
Today:
B - coffee and a protein coffee
L - leftover sushi, about 6 pieces of a roll
S - protein drink of some kind
D - not sure... again, leftovers or Nicoles or something good!
Vits: yes
Water: working on it!

She's probably so busy with the girls that she might not notice the Energy Boost. DD#3 has it pretty good. Ones in school during the day and she works in the evenings so DSIL has them. DSIL does most of the running with the boys and he is really good at cleaning....raised by his Mamma and Grandma.
Sounds Good!

I didn't have a snack yesterday afternoon because I wasn't hungry and I'm trying to eat only if I really need to. By the time I got home I was really hungry so while I was preparing dinner, I did eat.....not a healthy snack but a sweet roll DH bought at Costco. These things are bigger than the palm of my hand and there were 8 before he got into them. There they were with that beautiful cherry center just glowing. I cut a little piece and unfortunately it was as good as it looked. Before I knew it, I had slivered the roll down to the cherry center but what was I do but eat the cherry center. Ugh....why did I do that. I'm sure he will notice this morning one of his rolls is missing. When I got dinner on the table, I was no longer hungry.
I have him keep his junk food out of sight so next time he gets these rolls, they will need to be out of sight also.
B; Click shake
S: Oatmeal; protein hot chocolate (30 minutes apart)
L: Baked chicken; baby carrots; fruit salad
S: Greek yogurt or protein bar
D: Meatballs, salad
S: ??

DH has learned to hide his stuff....LOL. I eat every few hours and usually always have a cup of tea close by. I loose control easily if I'm hunger. I'll eat things I don't even like if it's in site.
You could up your Protein by adding it to your Oatmeal and Yogurt too.
Sounds Good!
