Iron Supplements

For the first few years I bought iron supplements from Bariatric Advantage.  Then I just bought it at Target or Walmart, but I don't think it was the right kind.  Recently, I bought Celebrate but don't care for the chewables at all.  I do see a difference in hair growth and in not being so cold since taking bariatric iron.

What do you take.....brand, mgs?

I am way past menopause and have never had to take any iron.  Glad because I tend towards being constipated anyway and I know iron makes it worse.

Proferrin ES, it's heme iron and doesn't constipate at all. I get it online from Vitalady or from the Proferrin website. Depending on your labs you can take from 2 to 4 a day.

I also order with Vitalady online. I get the tender iron capsules (60 mg daily I think) from her and I use her dry d3 50K 3x week.
