Sinus Surgery Today
I had sinus surgery to fix a deviated septum. It went well but I'm really sore and stuffy. I couldn't wait to get home for a Click shake. No cooking by me so I sent DH to Wendy's with coupons. He got burgers, fries and a Frosty for him and DS. I requested chili and a baked potato. Not low carb, but healthy. I got 2 servings out of it. I was thinking of a little dish of ice cream, only 10 grams of sugar, but nixed that idea. I usually avoid ice cream as it makes me dump even if it's low sugar.
Before I went to the hospital, I weighed at home and was down another lb. Great!! The pants I wore felt a little looser. So at the hospital she took my word for my height but took me to a scale. I was shocked to see 11 lbs. more than at home. It was a digital scale as is my scale but the hospital scale should be accurate. I just replaced the battery in my scale but I'm buying a new scale.

yeah for you deciding not to have the icecream!!! Glad your home and surgery went well. I take the 11 lbs was below what your scale reads??? Yeah!!!!! I know mine in my night gown at home is in the morning is still about 3 lbs more than with cloths on at the doctors in the afternoon!!!! so, I always deduct 3 lbs from my home scale!!! thinking of buying a new one also!
With clothes on in the middle of the day, I can be 5-6 # heavier than in the morning at home. I think the important part is that you are going down, on whatever scale.
Wendy's chili is a good choice when you are out and fast food is about it. These days, many of our groceries have salad bars and I love to be able to do that but sometimes chili is just better than salad, expecially in the cold. Early out, I would just go to the deli and get 2-3 oz of roast beef. Great easy and good for you.
Hope you feel back to normal soon.

Just keep following your plan and know you will do well. All scales are different. I know about what to expect at my doctor's office in the middle of the day with clothing compared to what I weigh on mine in the morning when I first get up in only my gown. . as someone else said as long as you see on your scale that it is going down, know it's working.! :) hope your feeling better now.
