Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
Afternoon LW's!!!!! We have sunshine today!!!
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them occasionally while I'm having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

I know I posted here this morning but I don't see it. I always check back to see what everyone is eating. We bought 2 bags of SkinnyPop at Costco and that's what I've had for a snack the last 2 evenings. That needs to stop. I shouldn't eat unless I'm really hungry. Tonight I'm fixing DH and DS Brinner (breakfast for dinner) and their favorite is biscuits and gravy. I'm going to be strong and a healthy salad. The biscuits have 29 carbs for just one.
I'm not a big fan of cottage cheese so when I saw a recipe for Chocolate Cottage Cheese I thought I'd try it. I did and it was awful. It's 2/3 cup cottage cheese, 1 T. peanut butter and 1 scoop chocolate protein powder. It doesn't look good and it was dry.
Tomorrow I'm having sinus surgery. Not looking forward to that but hope to get relief from sinus problems.
B: Click shake
S: Ricotta cheese w/vanilla extract, sweetener, walnuts; hot chocolate w/scoop of Cookies & Cream protein powder
L: Chocolate cottage cheese (about half); hummus, low carb crackers
S: Quest bar
D: Salad w/chicken or turkey, cheese, boiled eggs
S: Hot tea maybe.....NO popcorn

I hate it when that happens. Sometimes it reappears and then I have 2 post. I just posted my M&M and it isn't here. Well, see if this shows up.

Sending good wishes for your sinus surgery - that's NEVER fun...
I haven't had cottage cheese in AGES. I shoud think about trying it again. But if you say it's horrible, I won't do the chocolate and peanut butter variety...

My surgery went well.
My favorite way to eat cottage cheese is to mix 2 cups with a package of dry sugar free Jello, any favor, and a cup of Cool Whip. Some people don't like to use Cool Whip since it's not real whipped cream. You could make your whipped cream but it doesn't hold up for very long. Sometimes I add Mandarin oranges or pineapple. I know that adds carbs but it's very good without the fruit.
