Yesterday we had snow and the streets were just awful. DH picked me up and it took nearly an hour to get 10 miles. Today the streets are cleared off but the forecast is rain turning to ice. Ice will keep me at home. I'm okay driving in snow but ice is scary. I plan to spend tomorrow in my sewing room working on a charity quilt. I will be so glad when this temp job ends. I'm not busy most of the time. They need someone sitting at the reception desk to let people in and direct them to wherever they need to go. No phones to answer. I do some computer for agent files. Easy money!! I can read or surf the net. Today I added bariatric recipes to Key Ingredient where I have all my recipes stored electronically. I have an electric recipe reader to use at home, just turn it on and find the recipe I want.
I've collected bariatric recipes for 7 years and have used many of them, but now that I'm back on track with my eating, I will be using a lot more of them.

I am so over all this weather. I haven't left the house in a week and the water has been off and on. We are still a solid sheet of ice. And now we have a broken valve coming from the pump to the house but luckily our handy man can fix it and DH went to get him because he still couldn't get out from his house. Fixed now. I hope between the warmer weather and the fix, we will keep water.

Roz, I nuke the pepperoni and slice the cheese stick into little pieces. when you nuke it, it gets hard and crispy. I love it and eat that slower than just a plain cheese stick.
