WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
Happy TBT (Throw back Thursday) Any pics to share? I'm working a 1/2 day today. DD#2 is going with me to look at a couple of nursing homes. I need to look at them through someone else's eyes. It's also DH's birthday. I made him a spice cake this morning. I'm going to have him hide it from me!!!
Maintenance: 6+ years out and started the new year right on target!!!
Breakfast: Scrambled Egg, Eggbeater, 1 piece of bacon
Snack: Matrix Mint Cookie 35g
Lunch: Not sure
Snack: Nature Valley Almond Crunch...YUMMY Nuts (Only buy the Gluten Free the plain ones are to sweet)
Dinner: Roast and green beans
Snack: Banana
Snack: 3 TB. of Popcorn

Hi Roz! I haven't done a before and after in a long time! This pic was actually taken the day after and I was swollen: This was about 208
Here is one with the grandgirls about 1.5 years ago. This was about 135. What I do remember about this day was it was Grandparents day. I was the only grandparent sitting on the floor with the kids. The rest had opted for chairs.

Looking back at my pictures throughout the years I definitely did and so do have a big body image issue. I remember seeing pics taken 3-4 years ago thinking I was fat. Now I wish I looked like that ;) I will get there again!
Eating yesterday was good. Kept busy and didn't really get hungry. Today I'm definitely feeling restriction!
B - 2 protein coffee's and a regular coffee
L - a ste *** (has hamburg in it too was yummy)
D - a steak. I cut half of it and cooked it and still felt hungry. So I cooked the rest of it and ate all but 4 pieces. It was a pretty good size steak so I worried a little about eating it all.
Vits: yes
Water: also did well with this.

I don't every remember seeing the first picture. I love the picture of you with the grandkids!! I hope that one is your goal. That's awesome you sat on the floor with the kids. I'm pretty sure I still vote for the chair. I do get down on the floor at home but even with the extra skin my butt hurts without some support.

I weighed this morning AFTER drinking my shake and I have lost 5.2 lbs. So many times I've tried low carb and went 2 weeks a few months ago. Then, I would have cravings for sweets and tell myself I just can't do LC. However, I believe it's the only way I will lose weight and maintain.
Coming back to OH has helped tremendously.
B: Shake made w/1 scoop Click & Syntrax Chocolate Truffle. Made it without Click but didn't like the taste.
S: Bacon, fruit (leftovers from a breakfast meeting); protein hot chocolate
L: 1/2 cup potato soup; 3 Smackaroo crackers - LC; SF lemon pudding
S: Syntrax crystal sky w/water
D: Meatballs
S: Will try to avoid
The meeting breakfast consisted of biscuits, gravy, eggs, sausage, bacon and fruit.
The Smackaroo crackers I got have soy. Grrrrrr. My face still has some itchy spots. The ingredients show soy, almonds and wheat. Glad I only bought one box.

0 here last night. water froze again but when it warmed up to 10 it thawed everywhere but the kitchen. The big problem is always the barn because of the extreme need for water for the horses and thank goodness it thawed there. We haven't been out all week. finished my socks, working on a sweater because all my work stuff and taxes are done. Driveway is a solid sheet of ice. Tonight is the same. Better over the weekend.

That would be terrilbe withou****er. DH said it was -15 (probably wind chill factor) this morning when he left for work. They only worked outside 1/2 day and now they are instead until someone's having trouble with their gas lines.
Do you dip the pepperoni in the melted cheese stick?
