One more thing.   Just in the last couple of weeks I started eating salads with Protein toppings and my scales started moving in the wrong direction.  I found I was still hungry after eating them so during the day I ended up eating another snack which was more than usual.

BUT:  as long as you are losing and your happy you have to do what works for you!!

I understand about the boss. :)

I will definitely watch this week and see what happens.  I certainly don't want the scale to go the wrong way!!  This is to much hard work to get it off!! I will NEVER allow myself to get heavy EVER again!!

Thanks again!! :)

I know you are sleeve and I was RNY but for ME, I had to keep my protein around 130-150 while I was losing to keep my levels up.  Still need a ton of protein to be right at the bottom edge of normal.

Also, I found when I started really slowing down losing, I could eat the same # of calories but keep the carbs under 30 and still lose.

Wow, that is interesting!  I thought I was doing good getting 80-100 grams of protein in...  I guess maybe I better up that and cut the fruit.  I definitely don't want to gain!!  I have never in my life been where I am at now and I am not done.  I want to be at least 135 and then reevaluate if I need to lose another 10.

Hi Roz!

I'm 13 pounds over my red line.  I've only got 2 weeks before I got to Houston for my future DIL's bridal shower.  I HAVE to get some of it off.  So - I've been back on protein drinks this week.  I'm seriously thinking of ONLY protein drinks for 3 days to "decarb".  But it may be protein drink for breakfast and lunch and a meat for dinner.  I've got some hamburg and steak that can be cooked.  I have to get away from the late night snacking.  My clothes aren't fitting right and I'm downright disgusted with myself!

B - 2 protein coffees (10 carbs) and a regular coffee w/creamer (3 carbs)

L - protein drink (0 carbs)

D - I'm thinking steak sounds good

Vits:  yes

Water:  working on it!

You can do it Jody!!  This will be a good start for getting the rest off for the wedding.

My DD#1 goes to Dallas on the 27th for a big competition.  DD#3 isn't making the trip because she is having the baby March 5th. I'm going to rub it in when she is sitting at home waiting for updates.  I watched her boys last weekend when they were in Atlanta and they left me hanging all day.  Thank goodness I figured out twitter or I wouldn't have had a clue what the teams were doing. Now that I'm thinking about it, I'm betting they facetime the teams with her.

REPEAT....YOU CAN DO THIS JODY!!!!

you can do this!!! But give yourself enough room to succeed, so have a meat at night and just stay with the protein.  Full liquids would make me cheat.

I'm going to ask you a Post Office Question.  The last 2 times we mailed out  pay checks there has been 20+ in each one bunch returned to us.  The post office reason was the clear window. (The name/address could be seen clearly)  We have used these same envelopes for 9 years without a problem.  Our Director went to talk to 2 local post offices and called Pittsburgh.  Do you have any suggestions as to what might be the problem? Our Day Care Providers aren't happy their checks are late.

Do you get a reduced postage for them being presorted?  If so, the only thing I can think of is there may be a new person at the bulk mail unit.  There is a "window check" where they tap the envelope down to see if the insert shifts.  If any of it goes outside the window they may send it back.  Now - it's supposed to be a "random" check.  Also - is the window cellophane or no covering?

There should be someone from Marketing that represents your area.  They should be able to help you if you can't get a Postmaster to help.  Also, if they do go to a Bulk Mail Unit, there will be a supervisor for them too.  Unfortunately with all the cuts and depending on where your "District" is, that person may be hundreds of miles away (as well as the Marketing person).  If I still had my resources at the PO I could help track down someone to talk to, but I don't.  :(

If you're paying full postage that should NEVER happen.
