Everything is going great.  limited pain.  just some underneath my left breast bone.  tons of walking.  i do not care for my pure protein shakes.  (only one doctor allows) but a add a little water and some ice and get thru it.  I am looking at ordering protein power for after the 24th when i check in with my doctor,

so far so good.

Yay for me as i slide on down the losers bench.....

Drs are funny about how they are all different.  Different pre-ops, different phases, etc.  Mine also had a list of "approved" drinks which in the beginning didn't include chocolate anything.  The main concern was 100% whey protein.  Lots of the Syntrax products meet the criteria and you can order samples from them or from Vitalady.  They are my favorites.  Their Matrix products are a blend of protein so you may not be allowed them for a while plus they have higher carbs but the naturals and ??? are all whey.

that pain under your breastbone is probably gas that snuck up there after surgery.  It will get better as you can move around more.

Sounds great!!! Now just stick to the plan and keep on keeping on.

Congrats on your New Life!!!!

I am a believer in Protein Drinks!!!  Some Drs. don't want the patients using Protein Drinks but the ones who seem to be successful.  Early out I had trouble getting them down too.  A lot of us  seem to struggle with our taste buds.  Everything tasted extremely sour, sweet, or spicy.  At about 4 months things started tasting like normal.

I bought unflavored ANY WHEY at GNC.  I put it in everything from soups, SF pudding, SF jello, Crystal Lit, SF Hot Chocolate etc.  Now I love the Syntrax and Matrix brands.

Here is the Syntrax website offering 15 full size packets for $16.99 and that includes shipping.   https://www.si03.com/reg_index.htm
