Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
Morning LW's!!! I hope you all had a wonderful Valentines Day!! DH got me a dozen red roses and a card. He wanted to take me out to eat but the roads were just to bad to go far so we went to KFC. I did celebrate with one of their Chocolate Chip Cookies. I'm soooo jealous of all you lucky LW's who have sunshine this morning!! We are 0 degrees with a wind chill of -8. It's finally quit snowing but it's way to cold to go out. We rarely miss church but the roads were so bad yesterday we decided to stay in this morning. I felt bad DH was out plowing the driveway so he can keep ahead of the next storm that's expected to come through.

It was 10 here this morning and has made it up to 22 but the wind is horrible. At least we have sun. The snow/sleet/ice isn't suppose to be here until tomorrow afternoon. cold water to the sink is frozen. Everywhere else it is ok. Luckily our handy man was coming today to work anyway so he has been under the house wrapping new heat tape and reinsulating to try and stop this craziness. Last time the faucet broke and it ended up costing $500 to replace it and fix it. And it wasn't even a fancy faucet!!!
