Yumm.  Can I come there for dinner?

It is our last good day here for being outside.  52 but the wind is already picking up.  Had a good drive with Teke, our last for a while.  I just can't do the cold, wind, snow and I know those of you further north are going to have it even worse.

Sounds great!   We got wind and very little snow. I think Roz got a lot of snow and you know how she worries about the wind since they lost those trees.

So I've been wanting to post on this thread, but hadn't eaten anything that felt ok yet.  But one of my first bariatric meals that I feel measures up.

B Chike protein coffee w/8oz 1% milk 175 calories, 21 carbs 18G protein (need to get a new milk product w/less carbs)

L Syntrax Fuzzy Navel shake 100 calories, 24 protein

D Unjury ckn soup 100 calories, 2 carbs, 24 protein, 770 sodium (yuck)

Total Calories 415, carbs 22, protein 63

Vitamins wow are there a lot of these or what?  But yes!

water I gotta up that more...

Miles:  Getting up off the couch and walking laps around the house & also making sure my 4 yr old doesn't elbow me in the stomach (that's real work),  :-)

You're doing great!  You might try to find some cappuccino flavored Syntrax Nectar protein powder. My hubby and I really like it. Yeah, the low fat milk is really jus****ered down milk with sugar added for flavor. Are you thinking of no sugar added almond milk?

Good thought on the capucino syntrax.  I really need a morning goto product.  This morning I used a chocolate shake mix with a cup of brewed coffee and it was way too much flavor of both.  At the very least i'm going to use instant coffee crystals so I have better control over that, and maybe not use a whole scoop of the chocolate (I'm just trying so hard to get my protein in, but yuck this stuff in my hands right now is pretty much undrinkable).

I hadn't really given it too much thought on the milk substitute yet. I figured I'd go to the grocery store and shop the shelves looking for low carb, low calorie, High protein options.  I really liked the carbmaster discussion from the other day and wondered if I could find a like product here.

I use unsweetened almond milk, 30-40 calories, really saves on the carbs.  I just can't do shakes with water.
