WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
It's Friday the 13th!! Are you superstitious? I have the boys today because DD's are on their way to GA for a Big Nationals. Later today I meet with a man from the Dept. of Aging at my Moms so he can access her so we can make a decision about Personal Care Homes. I think I've got myself prepared to finally give in and move her.

Good morning all! Roz, you are up and at it early. My GD is at my house, wish I was there. I'm still working the temp job but so ready for it to be over. I won't take any long term jobs again. Right now, I don't want short term either.
Is your mother living alone now? Hope the meeting today helps you to make a decision.

Good morning Roz!
I hope you can find a place for your mother that you like and know they will take good care of her at. The nursing home my father was at wasn't very good at that. My mother had to go in and shave him, make sure he was clean, etc.
Girls came over for awhile today while Nicole went and enrolled them in school. Wynn starts kindergarten next fall and Viv will be in the 3 year old preschool. They grow SO fast! They'll come by later too. She's having her house cleaned and wants to be out for awhile.
Well... I applied for a job back in Sept and got a phone call this morning asking me if I was still interested and wanted to interview. I said "yes". So, we'll see. It's a HUGE pay cut plus an hour drive each way. But I figured it wouldn't hurt to interview and see what it's like in the "real world" LOL. I have it made with this job, working from home, etc, but I'd REALLY like to NOT have to do the Michigan to Virginia thing.
Eats today - no idea... Not sure if Nicole is bringing lunch or I'm making it.
