Getting sleeved tomorrow
Tomorrow is the first day of the new me! I'm at the hospital/hotel tonight getting sleeved tomorrow afternoon. So nervous but now when someone asks what is the craziest thing you have done? I can say I went to Tijuana Mexico by myself to have wls. Omg!!! Lol I'm very excited to embrace life in a new positive way! I have loved reading all the forums here it really was encouraging to read everyone stories. Can't wait to be able to share mine!
Good luck, Angie. Please post and let us know how you're doing as soon as you can.

Welcome to the loser's bench! I've heard only wonderful things about the surgery center in Tijuana, so I'm sure you are in good hands. The only advice I have is that a friend of mine had it done in Tiajuana but did not do any follow up with a local center and had a rough start as a result. Make sure you get yourself involved with a program that can provide you with guidance and support once you are home. You with have many peaks and valleys ahead of you and find yourself a good doctor at home who is familar with wls and the sleeve and also find yourself a good bariatric nutritionist. Best of luck to you!
I made it!!! Not in too much pain. Kinda feels like I would imagine a kick to the gut would feel like. Very thankful for that. Yesterday I slept mostly and today ill be walking walking walking. And hopeful passing the leak test so I can eat and brush my teeth! Yucky dry mouth.
