Please critique
I had RYN 4/2012 and my lowest weight was 148 for maybe 2 days, then I maintained 154 for several years. My 3 year anniversary is coming up and I have put on 5 lbs. I now weight 159 and I hate the extra lbs. I never got to my goal weight of 140 lbs. I would love to get there. Will you please look at my menu and tell me what i should change if anything. Today if my first day back to getting "on track"...
Breakfast:
Unjury protein coffee-1 cup coffee; 2 tsp sugar free choc creamer; 2 tbsp sugar free vanilla, 1 scoop unjury approx 150 cals
Unjury protein Coffee-same as above
Lunch:
subway roasted chicken salad-1 small sweet onion dressing and 1/2 ff itailian dressing
Afternoon Snack:
1 scoop Chicken soup favored Unjury-
1 protein coffee-same as above
Dinner:
4 oz smoked chicken
1 cup green beans
I've been working off and on, but starting last week, I walked briskly for 3 miles on treadmill and 1 mile on elipical. I plan on doing the same this week.
Thanks,
I don't see anything wrong with that right off the bat. I would question the coffee creamers in terms of carbs. When I make my coffee creamer (1/2 scoop mint cookie, 3/4 scoop vanilla in warm water) I don't need anything else to "cream" it. It may be better to use a little real cream than the artificial stuff.
I don't worry about fat much. I use real butter, real mayo, mostly whole cheese, coconut oil and olive oil. We need some fat in our diet to be able to use the greens.
I just went for my 4 yr surgery appt. The diet the Nut gave me was 2-4 oz of protein, 1/2c veggies 5x a day and 1 protein supplement. Once a day you can have a fruit instead of a veggie, once a day a whole grain. She said the way I was eating was fine and if it was working, great but this is what they suggest for anyone over 2 yrs out.
The exercise is great. I do muscle pump religiously 2x a week but an not as consistent with walking. I figure all my work on the farm with the ponies should count but if it is "normal" no one wants to consider it exercise, lol.

No, she said to keep it up since my protein levels were good and everything looked fine. They are one of the few Dr groups that keep you on a protein supplement as long as you need it for your protein level. She was ok with what I am doing, just offered their diet as a possibility. I guess if you ate 5 "meals" a day, you wouldn't need the protein suppliments. I do 3 and a snack which I have tried to not have but haven't been very successful at not having it. Plus my 4 proteins suppliments (coffee 1.5, mid morning .5, mid afternoon .5, after supper 1.5) My DH says I had the surgery so I could eat all the time!!!

Your Menu looks good to me!!
Price is Maintaining her weight and you want to take off the pounds you have gained plus a few more. I wouldn't recommending stopping your Protein supplements until you are at the goal you want to be at and have Maintained for awhile.
I've had to give up my Protein drinks for health reasons and trying to Maintain while eating real food takes a lot of work. It leaves a lot of room for bad choices.

God is walking with me every step of the way. Because of HIM this is possible!!

To me it sounds like you're eating too little if you're snacking all nite .
I personally love air popped popcorn as a whole grain and very filling snack ...also salad w fat free dressing . You can't go wrong with steamed or stir fried veggies and a fat free sauce either i n my opinion . Good luck ! I love to run/jog/walk in the warmest part of the day in winter . I find if I can get out there my new body looks retarget the next day
