Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!     

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES  during the Honeymoon Period.   

 

Morning LW's!!  Do you have sunshine (jealous), snow, or freezing rain today?  We are getting the last.   I couldn't make it home Monday after work and of all days I forgot my phone at home.  A car was in the field and 2 couldn't make it up the hill but fortunately this happened right in front of a friends house so I used their phone to call DH to come and get me.

Maintenance:   6+ years out and starting the new year right on target!!!

 
Breakfast:  Banana

Lunch:      Salad with Protein Toppings

Snack:      Scrambled: 1 egg, eggbeater whites, and diced ham

Snack:      80 Calorie Cherry Yogurt

Snack:      Nature Valley Almond Crunch...YUMMY Nuts (Only buy the Gluten Free the plain ones are to sweet)

Dinner:     Not Sure Grandson's are coming

Snack:    3 TB. of Popcorn

Hi Roz! Hi Lightweights. I am so disgusted with myself that I can not take off the weight I put on over the holidays. Going back to basics today to try to get back in the groove.

B-Premier protein shake with 1/4 cup frozen blueberries. coffee with FF half and half

L-SF jello, Dannon Light and Fit greek cherry yogurt

S-Premier protein shake with frozen banana

D-

S-Premier protein shake with frozen coffee cubes

Will try to drink my water this p.m. and get on the treadmill

If I've gained a pound I really watch my fruits because they are full of sugar. You could add extra protein in your shakes like cottage cheese and then add SF banana pudding for flavoring.  It makes them really thick. I don't know much about Priemier.  Is it Whey Protein, 20 plus Protein, 0 carbs?

Weightloss mode with sleeve

Snack: Syntrax Nectar Wild Grape (23 protein / 0 carbs)

Breakfast: 1 Egg Scrambled with Turkey Sausage, Diced boneless ham, black olives, green onion tops and Weigh****chers Reduced Fat American Singles Cheese (15.41 protein / 3.82 carbs)

Lunch: Gorton's Classic Grilled Salmon - Baked (15 protein / 3 carbs)

Dinner: Boneless Pork Chops - Grilled (18.16 protein / 0 carbs)

Snack: Syntrax Matrix Mint Cookie with 8 oz Skim Milk (31 protein / 18 carb) - This will be my first time trying this... I was told it tastes like a Mint Chocolate Chip shake... we shall see. ;)

Vitamins & Calcium: On Track (.06 protein / 10.8 carbs)
Water: On Track
Exercise: 30 minutes on treadmill / 100 Ab Lounges / Yoga (May try the Foundations of Yoga video this time)

Totals: 103.24 protein / 35.82 carbs / 756 calories / 21.04 fat

I love, love, love Mint cookie.  It does have more carbs that some of the others but it is sooooo good.  I mix it with a half scoop of vanilla, full scoop of mint cookie in about a 1/2 cup of water to "cream" my decaf in the mornings, yummmmm.  I also love it in a shake with jus****er and ice.

It does have more carbs... and if I make it with 8 oz skim milk that is 18 carbs total :( but also bumps the protein up to 31 grams!! :)  I like the other flavors with water poured over ice... I just thought milk would be better with this?? More like a milk shake?? I have 1/4 cup of milk freezing in ice cube trays right now to blend with it. Do you always add vanilla to it, or just when you are making your "coffee creamer"? :)

I haven't bought vanilla yet... I got burnt out on vanilla, chocolate and strawberry with the other protein drinks... :/  I have Caribbean Cooler (Favorite), Grape, Cherry, Apple and Mint Cookie.

I just mix the vanilla with it for coffee creamer.  Actually, sometimes if I am using it for a shake in the evening, I mix some chocolate in.  I only use vanilla with that, never along.  Well, sometimes I use vanilla in my coffee with cinnamon vanilla SF syurp.  I also love Caribbean cooler and do that with a tube of mango peach crystal light.  These days I only use 1/2 scoop because I get a lot more protein with my food.  protein, crystal light and 20 ounces of water helps me get my fluid in.

Thank you!! I'm excited to try it this evening and see how I like it. :)

I like to drink tea, so I drink decaff tea sweetened with Stevia.  I was doing Splenda and loved it, but my NUT told me it causes more carb cravings (among other things) and that I should switch to Stevia if I need a sweetner.  I have found that I can drink unsweet tea though (never could I do that before).

I love the Matrix Mint Cookie but I drink it in water with lots of crushed ice.  Have you tried cottage cheese in your milk shakes.  It makes them really thick.
