Thanks for the welcome! :)

The very first Yoga video I did was called Yoga For Complete Beginners - 20 minute home yoga workout - It is Yoga with Adriene.  I just wanted to get a taste for it.... see if it was something I would like.  I liked it, and I liked her, so I looked for more videos of hers.  I found 30 days of yoga - still with Adriene.

I didn't make it to my yoga video last night, so I am still ready for day 2 this evening.  I've only done 2 videos, but so far I like them.  She really eases you into it... I am sure it will get harder, but right now I just feel like I'm having a nice long stretch! :)

Let me know if you try it and what you think about it! :)

WELCOME!!!!!   Yes you have found us and this is where you should be!!!   When first sign up with OH I met some pretty rude people because I was a LW.  I don't remember how I found this board but I've been here 7 years and feel lonesome when I miss a day.

You got some good advice from our other LW's. Your body is probably just resting.  I hope you took your measurements because although it sounds odd we seem to lose inches during our stall periods.  If it goes on much longer I would add in 2 more Protein Drinks for 3 days and then drop back down.  That should kick start you again.

I'm not allowed Protein drinks right now because I have been diagonosed with IC (Painful Bladder Syndrome) but I swear by them!!  Up until my diagnoses  I drank over 100 grams of Syntrax and Matrix a day.  I never counted carbs at all.  I made a decision early out I didn't want to count or keep track like on WW and since I met my Protein requirement (without keep track of anything) that worked for me during the losing and Maintenance stage.  Now I have Protein at every meal and seem to maintaining well.

Thank you for the warm welcome! :)

It is a challenge to drink the protein shakes... especially before I found Syntrax Nectors and Matrix.  They are soooooo much better, but still not something I want to drink.... just more tolerable. :)

I had a hard time tracking before now.... like you I was tired of it from the 100's of times I joined WW ;)  But I did finally find an app that I like and I find user friendly.  If I think about eating something I plug it in my app to check out the protein and carb count.... then decide if it is worth it.

I am trying to exercise everyday... I am hoping someday I will enjoy it. :)  I don't hate it and it does get easier everyday, so I have high hopes that I will like it someday.  I've enjoyed starting to learn yoga, but to be honest, I just feel like I am getting a good stretch... not sure how that will help me lose weight, build muscle or tone my body....  but it is a peaceful rexaxing time if nothing else. :)

I googled IC, that sounds awful!! :(  I'm sorry your going through that!

We are in the middle of a blizzard and ice!!   DH called and told me not to get worked up that he will make sure I get home safe.  He must be having someone come and drive my car home. School activities have been canceled and DD canceled cheer practice so once all of our DD's get home I will be a happy Mom.

Sounds Yummy!

Hi Roz!  Hope you're staying warm!

Went to a "bike night" tonight at a local restaurant.  Fun to see all the motorcycles.  Had a nice chat with a guy and his daughter who have the same bike I do.

Fought with sugar falling the past 2 nights and not sure why, but have come to the conclusion that I'm not eating enough during the day and waiting too long at night to eat.

Today:

B - coffee x2

L - honeycrisp apple with peanut butter (didn't eat the whole apple - it was HUGE - will finish tomorrow)

D - 3 chicken wings, 3 onion rings and a beer.  Now, the wings did have a sweet sauce on them - so the combo may have been the issue.

Water:  a little low today... will do better tomorrow.  We stopped at the store and stocked up on water.

Does your friend have a bike?  Are you dating anyone right now.

I told you that your weren't eating enough....LOL.  I hate that low sugar feeling .

Grease and sugar would definitely make me dump.
